Los
Angeles Ballet Academy offers a complete program for the young dancer.
Andrea Paris established her program in 1992. LABA's teachers come
from diverse backgrounds to teach a standard methodology of classical
ballet which nurtures young bodies, with age appropriate development
and strong technique. LABA offers strength building, flexibility,
focus, creativity and a love of movement to boys and
girls interested in dance. Our preschool
program introduces youngsters between the ages of 3-6 to the
joy of dance with stretching, various music styles, rhythms and dance
basics in a fun and creative environment. Preschool classes are offered
at the studio and are available by request at outside locations.
Dance training can be a wonderful addition to a child's life, the
awareness of the anatomy and the ability to control the body's muscles,
as well as finding their creativity and the artist within will stand
them in good stead for all they do. Being in the L.A. area, LABA
is very fortunate to have some of the cities top Jazz and Tap dancers,
choreographers and convention teachers on the faculty, as master
teachers, workshop tutors and guest choreographers.

Program for Fall 2007
LOS ANGELES BALLET ACADEMY Is augmenting it's regular dance
program with an early release dance program for Advanced dancers from
2-4pm Tue through Fri. Daytime classes and a structured program for
serious dance students with Andrea Paris (Artistic Director of LABA)
and Ex Bolshoi Ballet dancer Alexander Greschenko. Dancers do not have
to be LABA program students to attend this program, it is open to all
students with the approval of their teacher. Program will include daily
technique classes, repertoire, pointe, men's tec, and optional variations
